From opportunities to challenges to successes, the OEIED connects faculty and university resources with the business community in an effort to drive innovation and enhance economic development throughout the region. We serve as a liaison between the university and area businesses by:
- Implementing Precision Marketing strategies that target recruitment/retention within regional industry clusters
- Brokering industry and university collaborative and sponsored research analysis and testing
- Developing tailored workforce programs
- Conducting economic impact studies
- Compiling economic data and metrics
