ECU Willis Building Reservation Request
Please refer to the Use Guidelines shown below before you submit your reservation request.
Use Policies

The Willis Building is a venue for use by official ECU organizations/groups during business hours. For a fee, civic and business organizations, arts organizations and nonprofits organizations may use the Willis Building during business hours. The Willis Building is no longer available for after hours meetings/events.

The Willis Building is not available for personal events (weddings, wedding receptions, birthday parties, showers, church services, etc.).

Reservations are not accepted more than 2 months in advance of your event date.

Please be mindful that University departments are located in the Willis Building. Please make every effort to keep excess noise to a minimum.

ECU personnel located in the Willis Building do not provide event/technical support or business services.

The building opens at 8am and closes at 5pm., Monday through Friday.

Doors to the Willis Building should NEVER be left propped open and unattended for safety reasons.

No smoking or burning candles/incense in the building.

Use of helium-filled balloons is strictly prohibited.

Lobby furniture (including round tables and chairs) should not be moved or re-arranged.

Removing of furniture from the Building for use outside is strictly prohibited.

Adhering any materials to the walls is strictly prohibited. Easels are available upon request at the time the reservation is made.

The reserving group will be liable for any damages beyond normal use of the facility.

If alcohol will be served at your event, you must fill out an On-Campus Alcohol Permission Form with the Office of Ombudsman at least two weeks before your event and send a copy of the form to the Willis Building Reservations Office at willisreservations@ecu.ecu or via fax at fax at 252-737-1381.

If your event is canceled, contact Willis Building Reservations at 252-737-1358 as soon as possible.
