About Us

The East Carolina University Golf Club was established in 2002 by Michael Williams, an undergraduate student at the time.

We share a $100,000 budget allotted for club sports with 30 other club teams. Each semester, the university supports the golf club with a certain amount of money based on how active we are, how many members we have, etc.

The club was established to promote the sport of golf through intercollegiate competition and participation in the NCCGA.  East Carolina participates in the NCCGA since 2005.

Competitive Team

Players looking for a competitive experience are eligible to participate in tournament qualifiers prior to each NCCGA tournament. A team selected from the top qualifying scores will travel with the officers to the tournament site. Qualifiers will be held the weekend before each tournament, unless noted otherwise.

Members of the competitive team are eligible for course discounts and free range balls. During tournament weekends green fees, hotel costs, and transportation is taken care of by the club.

Non-Competitive Team

Players not looking for a competitive experience are also encouraged to join. By paying dues members receive free range balls and discounts at Ironwood and Bradford Creek.
