The American Counseling Association is dedicated to the growth and development of the counseling profession and those who are served.  The website provides access to publications, counseling resources, and a career center.  The next annual Conference & Exposition for the American Counseling Association will be held in Charlotte , North Carolina from March 19 – 23, 2009.

The North Carolina School Counselor Association is a professional organization, which represents school counseling.  The mission of the NCSCA is to promote excellence in professional school counseling.  The NCSCA provides member services such as an annual Fall Conference, quarterly newsletter, and drive-in workshops to assist in professional development.
