ECU Folk & Country Dancers

est. 1979

Celebrating 30 years!

The ECU Folk & Country Dancers promote the preservation of historical and modern folk dance forms among ECU students and the community.  We currently sponsor contra dances and salsa dances in the Fall and Spring semesters.

With beginner lessons beforehand, our dances provide a fun social environment for participatory dancing. No partner or previous dance experience necessary! People wear everything from jeans to dresses/skirts and heels.
