East Carolina University Presbyterian Campus Ministry, in conjunction with Westminster Presbyterian Fellowship at Duke University, presents a mission trip opportunity over Spring Break 2010 to Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Travel with us to New Mexico! Trip dates are March 5-13, 2010.

Cost is $750 per participant.

Trip Preparation Information


Application Deadline: November 1, 2009
Deposit: $100 by December 1, 2009

First Meeting: 11/8/09, 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Wendell, NC

Second Meeting: 1/24/10, 2:00-4:00 pm at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Wendell, NC.

Retreat: February 19-20, 2010, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Durham, NC.

Commissioning Service: 3/4/10, 7:00 p.m., Duke Memorial Chapel, Durham, NC
Team Reunion: March 28, 2010, 6:00 p.m.

Financial Commitments and Help


Trip deposits are due by December 1, 2010. They are your good faith pledge to participate in the trip and will be used to secure your airline ticket.

At the first meeting of each trip, you will be given all you need to write fundraising letters to raise the additional money for your trip. Each participant is expected to either participate in writing fundraising letters for the remaining cost of his/her trip or to pay out-of-pocket for the remaining balance of the trip cost. Students of every economic level can participate in these trips if they are faithful to their role in the letter writing.

There is a limited amount of financial aid available by application to the Missions Subcommittee of the New Hope Presbytery Campus Ministry Committee. Contact your Campus Minister for an application for these funds. Campus Ministers may be aware of other funding options.

Admission Policy


To be assured of a space on a particular trip, students need to meet the application deadline. Spaces still open after the deadline will be filled on a rolling admission basis and may incur additional expense.
