The American Cancer Society McConnell-Raab Hope Lodge
provides lodging for cancer patients being treated in
the Greenville area at no cost. Volunteering at Hope
Lodge allows us to cook, serve, and connect with guests
who are staying there. Having conversation with and
playing music for the guests helps make a difference in
their lives.
Invisible Children is a non-profit organization with
bases in Gulu, Uganda and San Diego, California.
Through education and innovative economic
opportunities, Invisible Children partner with affected
communities and strive to improve the quality of life
for individuals living in conflict and post-conflict
regions. The ECU chapter of Invisible Children meets
every first and third Tuesday in Bate during the school
year.
Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty. In
conjunction with Church World Service, ECU | PCM helps
raise money for domestic and international

The Ronald McDonald House offers a place for families
of hospitalized children to stay. ECU PCM cooks a meal
for these families several times each year.
