East Carolina University Wall of Honor
The Wall of Honor recognizes East Carolina University’s
honor societies. Located on the first floor in the west wing of Bate Building,
the Wall is an imposing display 16 feet wide by 9 feet high, framed in
oak and containing 4-inch by 12-inch bronze plaques. Arranged in chronological
order according to when the chapters were established, each plaque bears
the name of the society, the year a chapter was founded at ECU, and the
academic field represented. The ECU Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi developed
the Wall of Honor and remains in charge of its upkeep, with oversight
regarding any proposed additions. The entries on the Wall are listed below.
