East Carolina University Poetry Forum est. 1965

The Forum is conducted in a workshop style,
but meetings are open to listeners as well.
Writers who plan to attend should
bring 8 to 10 copies of each poem
they wish to have discussed.

National Poetry Month Reading Tipsy Teapot - 409 Evans Street - Greenville April 21 @ 7pm

Good poetry has discernible qualities.
It makes maximum use of figurative language,
and what is said emerges from the drama of the imagery.
What it says has a greater impact because it emerges subtly,
rather than in the form of direct statements. - Peter Makuck
