King Seminar Series |

Dr. Lauriston King, the first director of the Coastal Resources Management program, taught an introductory seminar for all first semester students in the program. Each year he assigned students to research a hot topic in Coastal Management. They were to review the problem, the science underlying the issue, potential solutions and the relevant policy. Students worked as a team and were given a scenario, such as briefing executive political staff on the issue. Alumni of the program have commented that some of these issues were timely and surprisingly became national or state policy issues. We have collected the recent papers here.
