ECU Alumni Association

Every little bit is a big help to us, and it's easy to do. You can either:
Print a form to mail in with your donation, OR,
Go to the university's online donation page, selecting "College of Arts and Sciences" and "Political Science Department"

Donations to our development fund are used to help send students to competitions and provide a variety of student services that are not possible within state budgetary constraints. Funds donated to the department will also be used to continue renovating the library and to provide student and faculty services. The library is used for student events, classes, meetings, and as a study room for graduate and undergraduate students. It also houses many books and journals that are used as reference materials by faculty and students. We would like to continue upgrading the existing holdings and to purchase additional furnishings to make the library more comfortable and attractive for visitors and students.

Any contribution you or your firm could make, whether it is $10, $100, or $1,000, would be greatly appreciated by our students or faculty.

The $1,000 Club

Donate $1,000 to the Department of Political science at East Carolina University and your name (or that of someone you wish to honor) will be engraved and featured on a special plaque in the department library. You will also receive a customized gift to show our appreciation.

Seven names have been placed on a special plaque in the Political Science library in Brewster Building to honor those individuals (and one firm) who have donated $1,000 or more to the department during the past year. The faculty and staff - both past and present - are honored by these donations to the development fund

These donations have helped us to sponsor departmental and public events and to support our majors and their organizations in may different activities. It also comes in handy for purchasing everything from paper to printer cartridges.
