Welcome!
What an exciting time to be studying government and politics! Developments in the past few decades have changed the way that we look at society and government.
In the 21st century, domestic politics has seen increased partisanship, a continually changing media environment, and new challenges for governance at the national, state, and local levels.
Internationally, we have seen new threats to our security, continued fluctuation in the spread of democracy, and an ever-changing world order.
Our various course offerings here in the department of Political Science are designed to help you understand these changes, and therefore enable you to become successfull citizens.
Browse though the web site and see what we have to offer. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
WELCOME to our new faculty, Dr. Alethia Cook and Dr. Marie Olson Lounsbery!
