General Education Requirements: 42 semester hours consisting of:

• ENGL 1100 and 1200 (6 hours)

Requirements in Political Science: 48 semester hours with a minimum of 27 hours selected from courses numbered above 2999. Required courses are to be distributed as follows:

• POLS 2000 - Computer Application for Political Science (3 hours)
• POLS 2010 - Introduction to Comparative Government and Politics (3 hours)
• POLS 2020 - Introduction to International Relations (3 hours)
• POLS 3031 - Behavioral Methodology (3 hours)
• POLS 3240 - State and Local Government (3 hours)
• POLS 3252 - Introduction to Public Administration (3 hours)
• POLS 3255 - Domestic Public Policy (3 hours)
• American Government and Politics Courses (3 hours)
• Public Administration and Public Policy (3 hours)
• Political Theory, Methods and Skills (3 hours)
• Comparative Government and International Politics (3 hours)
• POLS Elective from any field (12 hours)

Minor Requirements: A minimum of 24 semester hours in an approved minor field of study.
