Minors In Political Science
To maximize a concentration in political science, a student may major in political science and minor in public administration or in comparative government and international relations.
Minor In Political Science
Requirements, 24 semester hours to include
- POLS 1010: National Government
- POLS 2010: Introduction to Comparative Government and Politics
- POLS 2020: Introduction to International Relations
- At least one course in political theory and methodology selected from:
- POLS 2070
- POLS 3031: Introduction to Behavioral Methodology
- POLS 3370: American Political Thought
- POLS 4255: Public Policy Analysis
- POLS 4371: Western Political Thought I: Moses to Montesquieu
- POLS 4373: Western Political Thought II: Rousseau to Camus
- Electives in POLS to total a minimum of 24 semester hours, with a minimum of 12 semester hours from courses numbered above 2999.
