Dental School Application Process
Students planning to apply to dental school will begin completing the application 12-14 months before they plan to matriculate. If a student plans to attend dental school the fall after graduating from an undergraduate program in the spring, and does so in four years, he/she will apply during the summer between his/her junior and senior year, or very early in the fall of the senior year. The application for dental school opens June 1st each year for admission for the following year. Deadlines vary from school-to-school but fall between December 1st and February 1st (the deadline for applying to the ECU School of Dental Medicine is January 15th).

Documents required for application:
- Transcripts from each community college or university attended
- Personal Statement
- DAT (Dental Admissions Test) Scores
- Letters of Recommendation
