Workshops

Pre-Professional Advising hosts various workshop throughout the year. We offer a series entitled, "So You Want to be..." (a doctor, lawyer, dentist, PA, etc) geared towards those students who are considering a career in the respective field and need information on how to prepare. We also hold general workshops related to preparing students for the graduate school application process, and more specific workshops to provide information on preparing for interviews, standardized tests, and preparing personal statements.

September 17: Prescription for Success

The Prescription for Success is an event designed to educate students interest in health professions on the steps they need to take, and resources available at ECU, to help them be successful.

Representatives from ECU’s Brody School of Medicine, School of Dental Medicine, and College of Allied Health Sciences professional programs, and College of Nursing will be available, as well as students in these programs, to provide their advice to interested students.

The Prescription for Success will run from 10 am - 2pm. Check-in is in the Bate Building. Please rsvp here.
