Recommendations
These documents contain PPC recommendations stemming from our year-long university self-study. Phase II material (reorganization) is highlighted in the smaller of the two (PhaseII). The larger document (PhaseIandII) contains Phase I (prioritization) and Phase II (reorganization) materials. In general, these documents include descriptions of process and a summary of recommendations.
The pdf file linked below contains the final version of the University Self-Study and the PPC's recommendations. The Self-Study was authored by the PPC as part of its charge from Chancellor Ballard issued in May 2011. The final version of the Self-Study and recommendations were submitted to Chancellor Ballard on 01/16/2012. Two public drafts (11/15/2011 and 12/16/2011) preceded this final version and yielded a large volume of significant feedback in each case. PPC listened carefully to all feedback and incorporated many of the changes requested by the campus community. Phase II of the PPC's work is now under way and will involve the development of possible reorganization scenarios for campus consideration.
