Research Interests:

I am interested in understanding how sensory stimulation alters gene expression in the central nervous system during normal and abnormal behavioral development.  In particular I am interested in testing and refining this model of the roles of genes, interactions, and the development of behavior from Johnston, T.D. and Edwards, L. (2002), Genes, Interactions, and the Development of Behavior. Psychological Review, 109, 26-34.
