Research Interests:
Dr. von der Embse's research is organized around social justice, advocacy, and the leadership development of school psychologists to ensure equitable academic and socio-emotional outcomes. His research is focused in three primary areas: (1) a social justice framework for examining the consequences of educational accountability policies and high-stakes testing, (2) the development of brief anxiety assessment tools, and (3) technological applications to promote coping and socio-emotional wellness.
