Dr. Arastu Receives Gold Medal from the Pakistan Society of Clinical Oncology - (02.16.07)

Roger Ove M.D., Ph.D. and Suzanne Russo M.D. have joined ECU Physicians Radiation Oncology. (10.01.07)
Dr. Ove joins ECU Physicians as an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology. He completed his Ph.D. in Physics at Yale University in 1986, M.D. at the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign in 1995, Internship in Medicine at Saint Rafael's Hospital in New Haven, CT. in 1996, and Residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Maryland in 2000. He is board certified in Radiation Oncology since 2000. He is involved in both clinical and translational research and his areas of interest include head and neck malignancies and genitourinary oncology. Dr. Ove performs a number of special procedures which include Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery, extracranial radiosurgery, Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), Intensity-Modulated Radiation (IMRT), brachytherapy, and prostate seed implants.
Dr. Russo joins ECU Physicians as an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology. She earned her medical degree in 1995, Internship in Medicine in 1996, and Residency in Radiation Oncology in 2000, all at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is board certified in Radiation Oncology since 2000. She is involved in both clinical and translational research and her areas of interest include gastrointestinal, thoracic tumors, pediatric oncology, and sarcomas. Dr. Russo performs a number of special procedures which include Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery, extracranial radiosurgery, Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), Intensity-Modulated Radiation (IMRT), and brachytherapy.
