Willis Building Auditorium Reservations
The Willis Building is located at
300 East First Street,
across from the Town Common. An auditorium, with a maximum seating capacity of 200
(theater style), is located within the Willis Building.
The auditorium may be used by university related groups;
agencies of local,
state, and federal government;
private organizations; and by
non-profit,
civic, and cultural groups, provided these groups agree to abide by
university policies and procedures.
State policies prohibit use for social related functions (receptions,
weddings, parties, etc.), church meetings, solicitations and/or distribution
of consumable items, etc. Accessible restrooms are located in the
lobby area of the building.
The Willis Building
is not a convention center, and the amenities normally
associated with convention centers are not available. There is no housekeeping staff available after 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday and on the weekends.
