Undergrad Career Counseling The primary mission of ECU's master's program in Rehabilitation and Career counseling is to teach counseling and rehabilitation theories, applied counseling approaches, and clinical skills necessary for professionals to assist individuals with disabilities achieve their maximum level of physical, psychological, social, educational, vocational, and economic functioning.   
 
 
Graduate in Substance Abuse The mission of the Substance Abuse and Clinical Counseling program is to prepare qualified addictions and clinical counseling/clinical mental health professionals with competence in the foundational components; counseling, prevention, and interventions; assessment and diagnosis; diversity and advocacy; and research and evaluation germane to these specialty area.

Joule Training for Rehab Studies

The Ph.D. degree program in Rehabilitation Counseling and Administration provides the student with the opportunity to specialize in substance and clinical counseling, vocational evaluation, rehabilitation research, or an area chosen by the candidate and approved by the program director.

Vocational Poster for Rehab The Department of Addictions and Rehabilitation Studies offers three certificate programs that allow students to acquire core content that may assist in becoming recognized or certified in certain specialized professional practice areas.   
 
 
Minor in AlcDrugStud A 24-semester-hour undergraduate minor in alcohol and drug studies is available to undergraduate students from any major through the Department of Addictions and Rehabilitation Studies. The acquisition of this minor provides real advantages to a student's marketability in basic substance abuse jobs throughout the state.
