RENCI@ECU Participates in Amateur Radio Field Days
Renci's outreach van, the Rover, took part in Amateur Radio Field Day on June 28 and 29 with Greenville’s Brightleaf Amateur Radio Club, the local chapter of the nationwide Amateur Radio Relay League, which demonstrated its readiness to broadcast under emergency conditions.
Two East Carolina University Graduate Students to Receive RENCI@ECU Master's Thesis Fellowships
Greenville, May 7, 2008— Robert Howard, Geological Sciences, and  Christopher Betancourt, Biology, will become East Carolina’s first RENCI @ ECU Center for Coastal Systems and Informatics Modeling Masters Fellows. The single semester fellowships for Fall 2009 provide support for students’ thesis work.

March 28th (colloquium) and 29th (workshop). Topics, talks, and demonstrations on GIS, Remote Sensing, Terrestrial Laser, Scanning, Web-based GIS and Cartography, Estuarine Mapping, 3D Modeling in GIS, LIDAR Coastal Change, HAZUS, GIS-based Risk
Assessment, and Geovisualization.
