Filing: The application for candidates who would like to run for position will be made available via OrgSync during this time.
ü Date: February 3 – February 9 (by 5:00pm)
ü Time: Open until 5:00pm on Feb 9th

Compulsory Meeting: This meeting is MANDATORY for all candidates who wish to run in the election. Failure to attend without good reason will disqualify you from running.
ü Date: February 10 and February 11
ü Location: Mendenhall 244
Campaigning: Time period during which candidates will be able to promote and discuss their platform to the student body through various campaigning techniques.
ü Start: February 12 at 8:00am
ü End: February 27th at noon
Voting: Time period where students can go on Onestop and vote for SGA Executives and Senators.
ü Start: February 23 at 8:00 am
ü End: February 27 at noon ü Time: Open until noon on February 27
Announcement Banquet: All candidates who ran in the Elections will be asked to attend this banquet for the announcement of the winning candidates.
Events during Campaigning and Voting:
SGA Candidate Debate: Join the candidates running in the SGA Elections for a formal debate where candidates will speak on issues related to ECU and their intended duties to the student body. This is a Premiere Passport Event. Light refreshments will be served before the start of the event, first come first serve.

Rock the Vote: Feb 26th from 5-7 on the Brickyard: This event provides a fun way for students to get involved and vote in the SGA Elections. Polling stations will be set up along with food, fun, and entertainment.
