Where are they now?
Jodi Hollnagel-Jubran
Two years ago, Jodie Hollnagel-Jubran, MFA 98', was commissioned to create the ECU 13' Pirate in Bronze by Irwin Belk.  This project took one year to complete and was successfully installed on schedule and dedicated at last years' homecoming.
The success of the this commission, has recently led to another commission once again sponsored by Mr. Irwin Belk.  The three times life size eagle will be cast in bronze by Hanna Jubran, once the clay model and plaster molds have been completed.  The Irwin Belk Foundry in the School of Art will be used to cast the eagle in bronze.
Although this project is smaller in size than the pirate, it will require 3,000 lbs. of bronze to complete. Go Jodie!
