Facilities: Studios, Working Environment and Other Resources

Illustration students work in a wide array of traditional mediums as well as in the digital realm. Communal studio space is available for students accepted into the Illustration emphasis with priority given to students completing their last two semesters. Well outfitted computers and peripherals are available in the building for student use but students are strongly encouraged to purchase a MacBook Pro laptop and the Adobe Creative Suite upon entrance into the program. It is highly recommended that students purchase the laptop from ECU’s Dowdy Student Store which provides outstanding support in terms of pricing, loans, and maintenance services.
