Undergraduate students are accepted into the concentration through portfolio review, after their first or second studio class. Graduate students may apply in the fall of each year, and acceptance is based on portfolio review as well as reference letters, transcripts and a statement of purpose from the applicant.  It is recommended that graduate applicants visit the program or interview with the wood design professor on the telephone prior to the application deadline.
