Getting Started

| 1.) Once you have been accepted to ECU, Undergraduates will receive an admittance packet and a Student Guide and housing contract within a few weeks. If you do not receive your Student Guide in a timely manner, you can contact ECU Admissions at 252.328.6131, or you can request an application for Campus Living by simply calling Campus Living at 800.328.7668 or e-mail us at housing@ecu.edu. For more information on this process or to print out a Campus Living contract, click here.

| | 2.) Once you contract for campus living at East Carolina, we'll be sure to keep in touch. Be on the lookout for future publications, which will keep you informed and guide you through the process of moving to campus. All housing and dining information will be mailed to your permanent address. Be sure to contact the Registrar's Office if your address changes. |
| | 3.) We'll let you know that we've received your Campus Living Contract and confirm that we are holding a space for you in the residence halls after receipt of your application by sending you a welcome letter. We'll also be sending a Campus Living Interactive CD-ROM during the summer with your room assignment and roommate contact information, also containing a digital version of our Resident Handbook (which outlines EVERYTHING you need to know about campus living), a video all about the campus here at ECU, and sound clips of our very own ECU Marching Pirates! |

Our Campus Living Move-In Guide will contain all the secrets for success on move-in day—detailed instructions, schedules, maps, a temporary parking permit, and more will help you get settled in smoothly. Plus, the moment you've been waiting for—your hall and roommate assignment info will be included. The guide is sent out starting in June, or about a month after your contract is sent in. |
