The Center for Counseling and Student Development offers various workshops and presentations discussing an array of emotional & mental health topics. We are open to speaking to classes, residence hall groups, student organizations, and groups of faculty & staff.

The following are a sample of relevant topics:

  • Adjusting to College
  • Coping with Grief and Loss Issues
  • Stress & Time Management
  • Assertiveness Training
  • Communicating and Resolving Conflict
  • Self-Esteem Boosters and Busters
  • Getting & Keeping the Relationship You Want!
  • Alcohol & Drug Use on Campus: What You Need to Know  

*Except in emergency situations, group programming requests will be filled based on staff availability. We require at least two weeks notice for our planning purposes.
