The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities (OSRR) administers the Student Code of Conduct.  If you have knowledge of an ECU student violating the Code, you are encouraged to notify our office of the incident.  This process is not anonymous since you will need to login with your Pirate ID and passphrase to file a complaint.  If you are not a member of the ECU community, please call our office at 252-328-6824.

Once a complaint has been received by OSRR, our staff will meet with the student to address the alleged misconduct.  Upon an investigation, appropriate action will be taken.  Please know that you and the witnesses you identify in the report might be contacted by OSRR staff for further information about the incident.  Additionally, please note that disciplinary records are protected by a federal privacy law called the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

Campus Living residents are strongly encouraged to notify their Resident Assistant and/or Housing Coordinator of incidents that occur within or around a residence hall.
