ECU Dowdy Student Stores offers students several convenient ways to purchase their textbooks.
1) Walk In Purchasing:
Students can come to the Dowdy Student Stores located in the Wright Building on East Carolina University's main campus to purchase their textbooks directly.
[A discount coupon is available for in-store shoppers.]
We accept cash, check, credit card, and
Bookstore Accounts (financial aid or other funds tied to your ECU 1 Card) for in-store purchases.
2) Online Textbook Ordering (purchase or rental): www.studentstores.ecu.edu/shop
Note: orders are not accepted for dorm room delivery -- in-store pickup available.
• Distance Education Students
Distance Education Students can select their desired textbooks, pay online, and have their books delivered, by ordering through Dowdy Student Stores online store, www.studentstores.ecu.edu/shop.
• For all orders, please allow at least 3 full business days for order processing.
3) Online Pre-Orders:
Online ordering for FALL with the option to pick your books up at the store when you arrive back on campus is available during the summer. (Dates TBA)
Orders are handled online, and offers students a convenient way to buy textbooks.
Simply login with your PirateID and password, enter your Banner ID, select your courses and your textbook list will be displayed. Select your textbook preferences as you normally would shop online, following the steps shown online.
