University Multimedia Center

Welcome to the University Multimedia Center (UMC). The UMC develops a range of full-service technology design and consulting solutions for faculty research and instructional use. Our team designs and develops multimedia projects for interactive course content and promotional purposes, and consults with faculty members on the instructional use of creative technology.

Web Design and Development

The UMC develops and deploys web-based projects for a variety of instructional, research, and presentation initiatives. Our team works with professors, programs and departments in the development of web projects, including requirements and scope development, user interface and graphic design, technology programming and production, user testing, and project deployment.

Multimedia

The UMC designs and produces CD/DVD interactive titles for teaching, instructional support, and information dissemination. User interface, digital video, professional audio, animation, and 3D modeling are combined to create intuitive, engaging environments for learning, research, and presentation.

Design and Technology Consulting

The UMC assists faculty, programs, and departments in choosing, designing, and developing creative technology solutions and projects. We can provide advice on appropriate hardware and software technologies, project management approaches, best practices for design, production, and testing.
