ECU Vending is a division of ECU Business Services. We take pride in providing excellent customer service, stocking a wide variety of products, and maintaining equipment. Through your continued patronage we are able to take profits from administrative area vending machines and use it to provide the Textbook Loan Program. This program allows full-time ECU staff and faculty and their dependents to borrow textbooks required for courses taken at ECU. Certain criteria apply.
ECU Vending Services is responsible for all snack machines, and fresh, cold food vending machines at ECU. Coca-Cola manages all of the drink vending machines. ECU Vending Services serves as a liaison between the university and Coke for issues related to vending machines.
If you encounter a problem with a vending machine, please call 737-1301 as soon as possible so that the issue can be resolved. Please take note of the specific location of the machine, and be able to provide as much detail as possible about the problem.
- Weekends or after regular hours, please leave a message with your name, daytime phone number and the nature of the problem.
- In cases of severe vandalism or someone breaking into a machine, please call the ECU Police immediately, (252) 328-6787.
Refunds on the east campus are managed through the Dowdy Student Stores in the Wright Building. Refunds on the west campus are handled through the Medical Bookstore, Brody 1S-04. Many larger buildings on campus have a staff member who is able to provide a vending refund, including the Library Copy Center, Mendenhall Student Center, the Willis Building, and others. Completion of a refund form and your ECU 1 Card is required in order to obtain a refund.

Coca-Cola Bottlers Consolidated is the contracted, exclusive beverage provider for East Carolina University. Specific rules apply regarding the sale and distribution of free beverages at ECU because of the exclusivity contract.
