The ECU Student Health Service, a primary health care facility located conveniently on central campus, provides top quality comprehensive health care at significantly reduced costs to all enrolled students. With a staff of friendly and caring credentialed health care professionals, including doctors, physician extenders, nurses, pharmacists, health education specialists, medical lab technicians, x-ray technologists, a physical therapist, and support staff, SHS is prepared to help students maintain their health through wellness exams, screenings, and education (in the form of consultation, outreach programming, health materials, awareness events, and more!), as well as to treat students for illness and injury when needed.
