| Welcome to the Health Issues Class Online. You have been referred to this website because participation in this online instruction is required if: | ||
| a) you are getting a first-time Pap smear/pelvic exam/gynecological check-up | ||
| b) a health care provider at ECU Student Health Service will write your prescription for a hormonal contraceptive method such as oral contraceptives (birth control pills), Ortho Evra (transdermal patch), NuvaRing (vaginal ring), or Depo-Provera (3-month injection). | ||
| Please Note: This is a one-time class. You do not have to repeat the class every time you have a Pap smear/pelvic exam/gynecological check-up or need a hormonal prescription. If you have a current prescription and you just need to have it filled, you can bring it to the ECU Student Health Service Pharmacy. | ||
| You must complete the online instruction at least 24 hours before your appointment. Please allow 45 minutes to one hour to complete the instruction and quiz at the end. When you are done, click "Submit" to fulfill this requirement. You will then receive instructions on what to do next. | ||
