Vagina Monologues a Success
The Vagina Monologues was performed February 10-12 at ECU’s Wright Auditorium with V-Day 2006 raising $14,000 for the Pitt County Domestic Violence Center and $1,500 for the national spotlight V-Day charity.
Georgia Winfree—who has been active with V-Day for six years and who directed this year’s production—was given the Vagina Warrior Award.
Sponsors of this year’s event were VOICE, the ECU Women’s Studies Program, and the Greenville community.
