Greenville, NC- In an initiative to connect with the local talent within the ECU, Greenville, and Pitt County communities. Live Zessions invites artists into the WZMB 91.3 FM studios for an intimate, one-take video recording session. Below are the guidelines that each artist must follow to ensure the finished product is both enjoyable and suitable for all audiences.

Artist must prepare a performance that is at minimum 2 minutes, but does not exceed 5.
Performances may not contain explicit language, derogatory terms, or any other offensive content.
Artist must assist in the promotion of their episodes via social media in exchange for the publicity that the content may generate for them in the future.
Artist will not be given access to their episodes until they premiere. After that, the content may be used in whichever way the artist may choose.

The goal of this project is to give independent artists a platform to express their art. The community is full of talented individuals WZMB 91.3FM aims to showcase them in a way that is fun and aesthetically disturbing the mainstream.

"I think it's important to give local artist a platform because there is so much talent in the community. When an artist is given a chance to showcase their talents it assures other artists that there are people out there who care and want to see their art just as bad as they want to show us. For a lot of people all they need is a platform and if WZMB 91.3 FM can be that for them that's a beautiful partnership!"- Kayla Becoats, WZMB 91.3's Station Manager.
"Working for WMBZ 91.3 is one of the best decisions Ive made in my college experience. We really work together as a team and this past year have had all our creative ideas flowing which makes the station grow as a whole. WZMB is a group of talented people I'm honored to work with!"- Kayla Schmidt, WZMB 91.3's Music Director.

"Live Zessions can be assistance to local artists such as myself by providing exposure to a piece of your target audience which are college aged students. This audience comes from all over the country with people from different backgrounds. It's a nice taste of what it will be like to reach a national audience."- Beaux Isaac, first Live Zession performer.
