Office of Simulation and Safety Education

This Office of Simulation and Safety Education is responsible for incorporating simulation-based education into all four years of medical student curricula and for promoting safe, interprofessional training of students and healthcare professionals. The mission of the Clinical Simulation Program is to promote excellence in clinical care, promote both patient and learner safety, and improve multidisciplinary team performance through broad application of sophisticated simulation modalities. The Clinical Simulation Center, located on the first floor of the Brody Health Sciences Building, provides a collaborative learning environment where students and health professionals learn, train, work, and rehearse together in a nonthreatening, reality-based simulated clinical environment.
