Meet our 3rd Annual Distinguished Faculty Mentor Award Winners!

The Distinguished Faculty Mentor Award is given annually to recognize two ECU faculty members who exemplify outstanding commitments to academic, professional and personal development of graduate students through mentoring and advising. One award for mentoring master's students and one award for mentoring doctoral students is given each year. Congratulations to Dr. Megan Perry (Master's Category) and Dr. Michelle Eble (Doctoral Category) on being selected as the 2015 Faculty Mentor Award Winners. Master of Library Science Program Fully Accredited

The Master of Library Science program is fully accredited by the American Library Association (ALA). The ALA accreditation was awarded to ECU's library science degree program in January of 2015. The American Library Association is the national association for accrediting master's programs in Library and Information Science in North America. Library employers typically require an ALA-Accredited degree. The goal of accreditation is to ensure quality instruction for library and information professionals. MS Criminal Justice program Nationally Ranked

According to the U.S. News & Report "Best Online Graduate Criminal Justice Programs" rankings, East Carolina's Master of Science in Criminal Justice program was ranked highest in the state of North Carolina and 25th in the nation. More information on the report can be found below.
