ECU is currently engaged in a campus planning process to assemble concepts relevant and unique to the university's campus, its mission, and sense of place. Programmatic requirements have been developed by ECU administrators, faculty, staff and students in collaboration with Eva Klein & Association, Ltd.
Upon completion (Winter, 2010), the plan will become a vision for the campus physical environment. In addition to being essential for appropriate university physical development, the Master Plan will:
Establish overall goals, objectives, and design principles that serve as a framework for future physical development
Provide long range planning for architecture, land use, space use, landscape, transportation, parking, and utilities
The Master Plan will facilitate a coming period of unprecedented growth and expansion that will be a logical extension of the university's heritage. For more information, please visit the University Master Plan planning site.
