Italy Intensives

Fall 2019

The Fall 2019 application is now open on
the Pirates Abroad website. Continue reading below to learn about class offerings, program itinerary, and payment schedule!

Tuscany in Fall

Fall is a warm and golden time in Tuscany with brilliant colors on the vineyards as they are harvested. See olives pressed and taste the fresh oil while enjoying homemade cheeses and wild boar sausages at the annual Boccaccesca food festival in our streets. Enjoy weather warm enough for swimming when you arrive for the trip to Cinque Terre, then watch the colors change as the air turns cool and crisp. It will be especially lovely and peaceful in Venice, where we end our semester in December, with few tourists and twinkling holiday lights on the Renaissance palaces that line the romantic canals. Don't miss this opportunity to earn your general college class credits in Italy during one of the most beautiful seasons of the year!

Cost for the fall semester is $9,965.

Cost includes:
  • Transportation to and from airports in Italy
  • International health insurance while abroad-no copay and no deductible
  • Lodgings and utilities in beautiful apartments in Certaldo
  • Lodgings on all overnight trips
  • Tuition
  • Transportation on all school trips in Italy
  • Dinners on all class days
  • Breakfast and dinners on overnight trips
  • Museum entrances and tours
