The Office for Equity and Diversity has several committees on campus to help further the goals and vision of equity and diversity at the university.
The mission of the Chancellor's Diversity Leadership Cabinet (CDLC) at East Carolina University is to serve as an advisory body to the Chancellor and the Provost. The committee is chaired by the Associate Provost for Equity and Diversity and reports to the Chancellor and Provost.

In support of the university's mission, the Staff Senate Diversity Committee is charged with making recommendations to the ECU Staff Senate that promotes awareness of and appreciation for human and intellectual diversity at East Carolina University.
