ECU Faculty Development Opportunities
Several resources are available to faculty members at ECU who want to improve their teaching and technological skills, learn about new resources and technologies, and explore new ideas for teaching and learning.
Office for Faculty ExcellenceThe Office for Faculty Excellence offers a variety of presentations and workshops each semester, as well as making recordings of former presentations available online through a password-protected system. Current sessions are listed on the OFE website each semester, and former workshops are listed by semester, sometimes with links to supplemental materials.
The online registration system for these workshops in SharePoint maintains a list of workshops attended by or instructed by each individual that can be printed for an annual report.
In addition, the Office for Faculty Excellence provides a searchable Mediasite catalog for workshop recordings. Workshops may be searched by topic, key words, or presenter.
Brody School of Medicine Office of Faculty DevelopmentThe Office of Faculty Development develops, maintains, and facilitates programs that promote academic excellence among faculty of the Brody School of Medicine. Among other services, it offers workshops on teaching, research, and service; a calendar of workshops and online registration are provided through the website.
Information Technology and Computer Services (ITCS)ITCS offers training on how to use educational and administrative technology tools for administrators, faculty and staff. A list of current offerings is located on its main training page. A calendar of workshops and registration is available through Cornerstone (see instructions below).
ITCS also offers departmental and one-on-one training for some technologies. Contact the tool administrator for details.

implementation of technology-supported educational initiatives through one-on-one tutoring, group
