Four separate HR-sponsored certificate programs exist to enhance critical workplace skills, knowledge, and professional development for University employees within his or her respective job function(s). Each program contains individual courses that are offered at varying times throughout the Fall and Spring semesters. The courses within each certification were specifically selected to support the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for each work group. The Supervision Institute Certification Program (SI) provides employees operating in a supervisory role with the opportunity to develop and strengthen core skills vital to effectively supervising diverse groups of employees.
The Administrative Certification Program (ACP) provides participants with a strong operational and logistical foundation with regard to policy, procedural and internal agency resources that form the necessary skill sets for those employees tasked with administrative support duties. This program is designed specifically for those operating in administrative support positions, regardless of classification.
The Leave Clerk Certification Program (LVC) provides personnel who administer leave records with a definitive course of training to develop and strengthen the critical skills necessary to manage and facilitate employee records in compliance with University and State policies.
The Medical Administrative Certification Program (MACP) provides participants with strong information base in understanding University policies & procedures impacting Health Sciences employees. This program is designed for those personnel operating in administrative support positions.
