Welcome to the Employee Relations (ER) Unit.  Our Employee Relations personnel are committed to serving the University community in a timely and professional manner. An Employee Relations Specialist is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. to speak with you confidentially about any individual, organizational or grievance issue involving work conditions that may be of concern.



The Employee Relations section assists Faculty and Staff members in resolving a variety of workplace concerns such as work environment issues, conduct expectations, communication problems, filing grievances and/or formal or informal workforce complaints. Our Employee Relations Specialists serve as both management and employee advocates fostering open communication, respect and mutual trust towards all parties involved.




Employee Relations assists managers and supervisors in addressing conduct expectations, performance management, mediation, disciplinary or other SPA/CSS employee concerns. The ER Unit also provides consultation and training on performance management and disciplinary process.
