Your ECU 1 Card serves as your official ECU employment identification card, and will give you access to libraries, university facilities, and possibly your building (depending on the security system).  The ECU 1 Card is worn as an ID badge at the ECU Brody School of Medicine.  While the ECU 1 Card is required for identification purposes, other accounts linked to the card are optional.

If you will be working on East Campus, you must obtain your card at the Main 1 Card Office located at G-521 Old Cafeteria Complex, 252-328-2673.  If you will be working on West Campus (Health Sciences Campus), you must obtain your card at the Health Sciences 1 Card Office located at GE-101 Brody Medical Sciences Building, 252-744-2261.

In order to obtain your ECU 1 Card, you must provide a valid state-issued identification card, letter of employment verification, and you ECU ID (Banner) number.  For more detailed information, please go to the
ECU 1 Card website.

For information on how to get started with your ECU email account, go to the
ECU ITCS Faculty & Staff email site.  Here you will learn how employee accounts are created, how to get started, and how to access your account from work, home, or on a mobile device.

Parking and Transportation staff can assist you in determining the best way to get to work.  All ECU employees are required to park by permit in any ECU parking lot.  Parking and Transportation also provides other alternative transportation options, which can be viewed on the
Parking and Transportation Services website

Free temporary parking permits are available to new employees, and are provided at New Employee Orientation.

If you will be driving by car to your new job on either East Campus or West (Health Sciences) Campus, use the
Parking Map to identify parking locations near your building.  Please note, you must park in the appropriate parking zone depending on your parking permit.
