Center for Survey Research

Established in August 1989, the Center for Survey Research provides eastern North Carolinians with access to widely used methods of assessing public opinion. The Center has the facilities and expertise to conduct a variety of surveys and interviews while facilitating educational and experiential opportunities for researchers and graduate students.

The CSR is experienced in all aspects of survey research from questionnaire design, sampling, and interviewing to conducting focus groups, coding, data entry, and data analysis. Spanish language interviews are conducted when appropriate.

The CSR conducts all phases of surveys to a variety of local, state, regional, national, targeted, or elite populations. Sample and study design are tailored to the clients' needs. The CSR formulates questions and designs custom questionnaires as needed.
