Welcome to the NSA/DHS National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance/Cyber Defense at East Carolina University (ECU)! Our center is housed in the Department of Technology Systems (TSYS)--one of four departments in the College of Engineering and Technology at ECU. Through its programs in Information and Computer Technology and Network Technology, TSYS offers undergraduate and graduate programs with a focus on information security. Our dynamic faculty, state-of-art laboratories, and partnerships with business & industry help us prepare our graduates with technical and professional skills needed to design, deploy, manage, and apply techniques of securing and protecting the integrity and availability of information systems and communication networks in governmental, private, and non-profit organizations.
