Vascular Disease and Surgery

Circulatory system disorders range from conditions such as minor blood clotting to life-threatening aneurysms. We use the most advanced approaches available to diagnose and treat all types of vascular disorders. When appropriate, we use precision, image-guided interventions which pinpoint diseased vessels and minimally-invasive procedures which reduce recovery times. Circulatory conditions may include:

  • Peripheral artery disease (PAD)
  • Abdominal aneurysm
  • Cerebral (brain) circulatory conditions and disorders
  • Carotid (neck) artery blockage
  • Kidney blockage
  • Thrombosis, or dangerous free-floating blood clots

Treatment approaches include:

  • Arteriography
  • Carotid artery stenting with cerebral protection
  • Renal and mesenteric artery stenting
  • Peripheral arterial angioplasty and stenting
  • Endovascular abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysm repair
  • Mechanical and pharmacological thrombolysis
  • Intravenous vena caval (IVC) filter placement and retrieval
  • Traditional open operative procedures
