The Hospital Dentistry service is a full service dental facility capable of treating medically complex patients requiring dental care. Typically, these patients are referred by Vidant Medical Center (VMC) medical providers, East Carolina University physicians, and private practice dentists.
The Hospital Dentistry facility provides comprehensive and emergency dental treatment for all, but our staff is especially well trained to provide full service dental care for patients with cardiovascular conditions, head and neck cancer, patients who have or will have organ transplantation and patients with other acute or chronic medical conditions.
Our office is located at the Vidant Medical Center and next door to the East Carolina University Leo W. Jenkins Cancer Center—making it particularly convenient for ECU and Vidant Medical Center employees.
